1. Who We Are

This website is operated by Lihoci ("Lihoci", "we", "us", or "our"), with its registered address at Zwierzyniecka 48, 36-192 Kraków, Poland. Lihoci coordinates and supports an Initiative for the Development of Neighborhood Communities, connecting residents, local organisers, and community projects.

You may contact us at any time using the following details:

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Polish law, in particular the Polish Civil Code (Kodeks cywilny), the Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights (Ustawa o prawach konsumenta), and, with respect to personal data, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) as implemented in Poland through the Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data.

2. Placing and Confirming an Order

Where Lihoci offers bookable services, participation slots, or paid programmes related to its community initiatives, an order is placed by completing the relevant form on this website and submitting the requested information. By submitting an order, you make a binding offer to enter into an agreement with Lihoci.

Each order is confirmed by email sent to the address you provide at the time of submission. The agreement between you and Lihoci is only concluded once this confirmation email has been sent. If you do not receive a confirmation within a reasonable time, please contact us at [email protected].

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit is accurate and complete. Lihoci reserves the right to decline an order where information is incomplete, incorrect, or where capacity for a given initiative has been reached.

3. Prices, Payment, and What Is Included

All prices displayed on this website are shown in Polish złoty (PLN) and, where applicable, include statutory value-added tax (VAT) at the rate in force in Poland at the time of the order.

The scope of what is included in a given price will be described on the relevant order or programme page before you submit your order. Any additional costs, such as materials or travel, will be clearly disclosed prior to confirmation and are never added silently afterward.

Payment terms (method, timing, and instalments where relevant) will be specified at the point of order. Lihoci reserves the right to adjust prices for future orders, but any price change will not affect an order already confirmed.

4. Cancellation and Complaints

If you are a consumer within the meaning of Polish law, you generally have the right to withdraw from an agreement concluded at a distance within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving any reason, in accordance with the Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights. To exercise this right, please send a clear statement of withdrawal to [email protected].

This right may not apply, or may be limited, where the service has already been fully performed with your prior express consent before the 14-day period has ended, or where the agreement concerns a specific date or period of performance, as permitted under Polish consumer protection law.

If you believe that a service was not performed correctly, or that an order was not fulfilled as confirmed, you may submit a complaint by email to [email protected] or by post to our registered address. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within 14 calendar days.

5. Limitation of Liability

Lihoci provides its services with due care and in accordance with applicable Polish law. To the extent permitted by law, Lihoci's liability for damages arising from the use of this website or the services offered through it is limited to cases of intentional fault or gross negligence, except where mandatory Polish consumer protection provisions require otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Polish law, including liability for personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

6. Cookies and Consent

This website uses a single cookie, named gdpr_consent, which stores your consent choice for a period of one year. This website does not use any analytics, tracking, or session cookies of any kind.

Advertising measurement tools operate only after you have given consent, and only on the order confirmation page. No measurement or advertising activity takes place before consent is given or on any other page of this site.

7. Supervisory Authority

If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO).

8. Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights described in these Terms, including withdrawal, complaint, or a data protection request, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable Polish law.

9. Changes to These Terms

Lihoci may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in applicable law. The current version will always be available on this page, and any material changes will be communicated where required by law.
